Hotels Guide Thailand

How we research

Every guide starts from primary and official sources: the Tourism Authority of Thailand, national park and government websites, transport operators, hotels’ own websites and UNESCO for World Heritage Sites. Facts that change often, such as opening hours, fees and timetables, are checked against the operator’s current information, and we link to our sources at the bottom of each page.

We use writing tools, including AI assistants, to help draft and translate text. Every page is reviewed and fact-checked by an editor before publication, and an editor is responsible for its contents.

What we do not do

  • We do not publish fake reviews, ratings or testimonials.
  • We do not quote room prices, because they change daily. Use the hotel’s own website or a booking site for current rates.
  • We do not accept payment to change what a guide says about a place.

Updates and corrections

Each page shows the date it was last updated. We review seasonal pages, such as the festival calendar, before each season. If you spot an error, contact us and we will correct it and update the date.

We link to official sources, hotels and useful travel services when they help the reader. Paid or sponsored links are marked with rel="sponsored" and identified on the page. Affiliate links, if used, do not affect our recommendations.

Translation

Pages in Thai are localised from the English edition by a translator, or the other way round. Place names follow the Royal Thai General System of Transcription in English text, with common spellings (such as Phuket or Koh Samui) where they are more familiar.
